For so many years
I’ve looked at what’s lacking
Could it be something
Could it be me
Didn’t know where to start
With counting my blessings
That only seemed like a useless cliché
Be careful what you wish for
You just might get it
I kept wishing for what I didn’t want
In my powerlessness
I showed myself powerful
I kept attracting what I needed
Only I didn’t know I needed it
And that’s why I now know

Gratitude in all things
Gratitude in all things
I get to be grateful
I get to be grateful
Oh, the strength I’ve gained
Oh, the lessons learned
Be grateful in all things
And then you’ll have the life
You want to live
Your mind is your world
Mindset is everything
I am so grateful
I’m full of gratitude
And that’s the right attitude
Oh, yeah

I stop playing the victim card
I have none left
I am all out
I am a victor
I am a winner
I’m more powerful than I’ve realized
It’s time to admit that
So I admit it
I hold the master key to all wealth
And it’s summed up in one word
That word is gratitude
That word is gratitude

Wealthy beyond imagination
Wealthy beyond my wildest dreams
My life turned around in one day
When I finally used the master key
The one that opens all the doors
And unlocks what I’ve been waiting for
And what I’ve already had the whole time
Surrounded and immersed in love
Held up by everlasting respect
I was too stubborn to see that before
And now I’m aware of my blessings
Blessings beyond number
I lost count so long ago
Yet I keep counting anyway
As a measure of my fullness of gratitude

Conclusion

I wrote the “Gratitude in All Things” lyrics / poem on March 19, 2019. Like H.O.P.E., gratitude is more valuable than ever.
