When to Let the Words Dance in Your Mind

Perhaps people have told you that you overthink things. In that case, if they’re right, then less thinking and more action is required. Maybe they’ve said that you’re stuck in your head. It can be better to live from your heart.

As a qualified overthinker, I’ve seen that the distance between my head and my heart can be the largest one to travel. And it isn’t always easy to connect the two. It’s a task that I’ve often considered to be impossible.

Yet I know that there is hope. Even when a situation looks hopeless, there is always hope.

If you look for answers with the mindset that the answers are available to you, then you will find them. It might take longer than you expect and the answers may show up in ways that you may not recognize them, but they will show up.

I say this for your encouragement as much as for my own.

So, when should you let the words dance in your mind?

At the risk of vastly oversimplifying things, you should let the words dance in your mind as long as they are helpful for you. If they are not helpful, then it might be necessary to learn and apply techniques like the no thought meditation technique.

Sometimes you can increase your mental strength by clearing away the mental chatter, even for a very short period of time. I’ve done the no thought technique multiple times, and I recommend it. You can find free tutorial videos for it online.
